From the Front Office
Hello Families,
A warm welcome to all our new and returning families. We hope you had a fabulous summer! September is upon us and with it brings many fun, educational, and informational activities. From spirit days and back to school nights, to our book fair, this month will be bustling. Our teachers are also ready for a fantastic school year. They are prepared to create meaningful learning experiences all year long.
In fact, we have been working hard to ensure our Links to Learning Curriculum is being implemented accurately and creatively in the classroom environment, centers, weekly lesson plans, process boards, parent boards, assessments, and parent reports. The first parent reports will be sent home in October and your child’s teacher will be available for a conference if you choose.
We are looking forward to watching your children learn and grow this school year!
Peace and harmony,
Christy and Tina

Tina’s Reading Corner
This month’s author is Mercer Mayer and all his Little Critter books. These books are fun to read together and portray a vast array of situations young children can relate to. As you read together, ask questions such as “what would you do”, “how do you think Little Critter feels…”, and so on. Additionally in many of his books, a spider can be found hiding on every page, so engage your child in finding the spider. While there are countless Little Critter books, these are some of my favorites.
