Principal’s Message:
Happy Holidays!
It’s hard to believe the holidays are upon us. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed time with family. This month we will be taking part in the Annual Cookies & Cocoa with Santa Event on Sunday, December 3rd from 1 to 5pm, at the Hotel Karlan. This event is hosted by the Rancho Penasquitos Town Council and benefits the Voices for Children Foster Care Program. We are collecting books to donate to this organization on Sunday. We hope some of our families will be able to attend the event. Discovery Isle Staff will be at the event hosting a craft project. We hope to see you there!
Mark your calendar for some fun other fun events this month. On Monday, Dec. 4th, we will be hosting a Special Holiday Shopping Event at our center. From 3 to 6pm, we will have several vendors here selling their products for the holidays. We have coordinated some vendors that we think will be able to provide great gift ideas for our families. Vendors include Lularoe, Usborne Books, LipSense, Christina’s Sassy Glasses and a few others. We hope everyone will be able to stop by and check a few gifts off their shopping list this year.
Our Holiday Celebration and Performance will be on Wednesday, Dec 13th, from 4-5pm. Each classroom will host an activity for our families and children to come and enjoy. Children will also be singing some holiday songs for our Parents to come and enjoy. Hope to see everyone there!
