FROM THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE…
Happy New Year!! I hope all of you have a wonderful safe Holiday. It has been a busy year! Even during Covid, we manage to do some amazing things at our school. We showed love and appreciation to our local law enforcement and fire department. We collect lots of socks and goodies for Meals on Wheels to help the Elderly. We had lots of competitions. Made a ton of awesome Art! Took some exciting virtual tours to far away places. We learned to wash our hands really good. We learned lots from our fun teachers. Used our imagination to create fun experiences. And most importantly we learned to have lots of love and compassion and the value of friendships. Let’s start this year out with positivity and good health. We look forward to another full year with you all.
Sincerely,
Christy Lang, Principal
School Closure Reminders
As a reminder, we do not always follow the closure schedule of the local public schools. Our goal is to be open as many days as possible to support our working parents. If we must close for any reason, you will receive a notification via Links 2 Home as soon as the closure is announced. We also post notifications on our website.
Winter Clothing Reminder
If you’ve not already done so, please check your child’s cubby to ensure they have an extra set of weather appropriate clothes. Students also need to come to school each day with a jacket and dressed warmly enough to play outside for part of the day. Please label all your belongings with your child’s name. We want everyone to be able to participate!
Winter Break Camp
We will be holding Winter Break Camp for our school-age students from December 22nd to January 9th. Students will participate in community service activities, STEAM learning opportunities, holiday themed projects and virtual activities. Students may attend all or part of Winter Break Camp, please let us know by December 5th if your child will be attending.
