Note from Principal
September is here and I’d like to welcome all our new and returning children and families to Discovery Isle Ted Williams. Over the next few weeks, you will continue to meet new friends joining us. Summer is wrapping up and Fall is on its way….
Links to Learning is continuing in the classrooms and the children are busy exploring their environments. As I did my thank you walk this last week, I observed children socializing, exploring, laughing with their friends, and engaged learning. It’s wonderful to see everyone having such a good time, while they learn new skills.
I would like to thank my team teachers that have been so dedicated this last year and continue to work hard every day. We are excited to build on our team and welcome a few new teachers joining us. We welcome Miss Chi, Miss Jamie, Ms. Jacqueline and Miss Kim. As we continue to grow with enrollment, we are confident that we will find wonderful Early Childhood Educators, as our school year continues.
We are now ready to make new memories and embark on the full academic school year that will promote the exciting adventure of learning.
School Reminders:
As the weather starts to change, and it is starting to get cooler, we are planning extra outdoor time to take full advantage of the fall season. Please be sure your child has a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby and outerwear when applicable.
Staying safe and healthy
It is important we continue our safety and sanitizing protocols. Please all adults and children 2 years on up (highly recommended) wear masks, clean and sanitize your hands before taking your temperature at check in. Thank you all for collaborating and doing the best we can together, to be safe and healthy.
Online Parent Communication

We update these items frequently to ensure you’re always in the know. Though we send information through Links 2 Home, our calendar can be printed or even downloaded directly to your device. Our menu and school year calendar can be printed or saved for easy reference as well.
