A Note from Our Principal
Dear Discovery Isle Parents,
We feel a mixture of emotions as the academic school year comes to an end. We are so proud to see our Pre-K students finish their last weeks in their class, many of them have been with us since they were infants in the Angelfish class, and we truly cherish all the memories we have made together. We are also truly excited for all our young children moving up to the next stage of learning here at Discovery Isle Ted Williams.
Thanks to the strong partnership and trust between parents and teachers and the support of the curriculum, we have completed a very successful school year. We are extremely grateful to our staff as they are the key component of the children’s success here at Discovery Isle. Our success would not have been accomplished without the parent’s utmost support and encouragement.
Monday, July 3rd is the first day of the new school year! Then Closed Tuesday for July 4th Holiday.
The first two weeks of the new school year will be dedicated to helping the children get familiar with their new teachers, classroom, and routines. It is our goal to help our students have a smooth transition by providing fun and exciting activities and at the same time spend time getting to know the children and forming the bond and attachment that will help them feel comfortable and at ease with their new teachers.
Please don’t hesitate to speak to us regarding any special needs or routines regarding your child. Admin Team will always make themselves available to discuss any issues that may come to mind.
Please feel free to reach us by phone, e-mail or just stop by the school front office, any time.
Sincerely,
Melinda Carvalho – Principal

Please let us know if you have any questions or need a copy of the Letter of Intent form to complete for the 2023/2024 school year. Thank you for your partnership. We look forward to another year of growth, learning, and fun together!
