A Note from Our Administrators
As we kickstart the month of October, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the changing seasons and the wonderful opportunities that await our students. Autumn provides an ideal setting for learning, with so many changes occurring outdoors and the chance to incorporate new, natural elements into our artwork and learning centers. Our students will explore the outdoors and feel the crisp air as they participate in memorable, seasonal activities. We have a lot of exciting things planned this month, including pumpkin decorating, our costume parade, and more. Please check out our October 2024 Events Calendar. We will keep you updated via Links to Home. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to a season filled with growth, discovery, and fun.
With Love,
Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Alisa & Ms. Brandi
Lunch Reminder- Guidelines for Cutting Food
This is just a friendly reminder that when packing your child’s lunch or any snacks, certain foods can be choking hazards for young children and should be cut/quartered to prevent any accidents. Grapes, cherry tomatoes, hot dogs, or any other smooth foods should be cut into smaller, more manageable pieces. We will slice your child’s food for them in the event that they bring in something that poses a choking risk. Please reach out if you have any questions.
We appreciate your partnership to ensure the health and safety of the children in our program!
Fall Cubby Refresh
The days will soon be getting crisp! Please supply an extra set of weather-appropriate clothes for your child and a jacket for chilly days. Please do notforget to label your child’s items with their first and last name.

Invite them to our Open House Week events on October 22, 24, and 26. When you refer a friend and they enroll, you’re eligible for a free week of tuition. Ask us for details!
Jumpstart’s Read for the Record
We are excited to again participate in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record – the world’s largest shared reading experience that celebrates and supports children’s early language and social-emotional development. Students will participate in activities throughout the week of October 21 inspired by the book, Piper Chen Sings, by Phillipa Soo and Maris Pasquale Doran. It is an inspiring story celebrating self-expression, family bonds, and conquering doubts. Keep an eye out for more details in Links to Home!
Halloween Parade
We will be hosting a Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 10:00am. Students are welcome to come dressed in their costume. A change of clothing is suggested. We ask that no props be brought to school along with your child’s costume. Please no masks- exception: if wearing facial covering due to illness protection.
Each classroom will be celebrating Halloween in their own unique special way. Please be on the lookout for a message from your child’s teacher on the classroom’s festivities. Celebrations and times will vary throughout the classrooms.
