From the Principals Office…
Well February was an exciting month! February just flew by! Thank you to everyone for taking the extra precautions due this flu season. I feel it has really helped.
March brings Priority Registration time for the new session July2020 to June 2021! Registration will begin on Monday, March 9th and go until Friday, March 20th. You will have to fill out a new contract for the 2020-2021 school year to secure your child’s spot for the new school year. In April, all open spots will be open to the public during our open house on March 21st. Keep an eye out as our school lobby transforms into a magical sweet treats; our registration theme this year is Candyland!
Calling all School Age children, did you sign up for Spring Break? We have a limited spaces available and spaces are almost filled. Summer Camp Priority Registration will start May 1st, keep your eyes open for the details!
Until next month.. Christy Lang

Silky & Stretchy Play Dough
Do your children love play dough? Here how to make silky and stretchy play dough using only 2 ingredients at home with your little one. It’s so easy to make that your child will love to get involved in the making process.
To make this silky and stretchy play dough you will need
1 cup conditioner (cheaper the better)
2 cups corn flour/cornstarch
Food Coloring & Glitter (optional)
How to make it:
It was a great change for them to squeeze the contents of the conditioner out of the bottle with their little fingers and talk about measuring it to a given line (1 cup mark).
Adding the 2 1/4 cups of corn flour into a bowl with the conditioner will give them the opportunity to use those larger arm muscles and mix the 2 ingredients together. Obviously corn flour can vary. If you find your dough crumbly then add a teaspoon more conditioner. If it’s too damp, add a teaspoon more corn flour. You may need to tweak the recipe slightly.
Of course you could divide the play dough and add a few drops of food coloring or glitter; however, I loved the silkiness of the stark white. This fragrant play dough was perfect for little fingers.
Storing play dough
This lovely play dough can be kept for a number of weeks/months, depending on how well it is stored. I recommend, like with any play dough, wrap it very tightly with a few layers of cling wrap and store it in an air-tight container out of direct light.
